Thats right, OGA has been proudly serving southern Oregon and parts beyond for a whole year now! We're very excited that we've made it this far in our "wonderful" economy. A gold hoard has been discovered!

Of course, we all dream of hitting 'the big one', the find that makes us financially independent but also something that is of some historical importance.

Well, one fellow prospector has done just that. Terry Herbert, an Englishman, was using his metal detector on his friends farm when, out of nowhere, he got a target. Upon further investigation he discovered that he found more than he could ever have imagined.

What he found was a rare hoard of gold and silver artifacts dated from the 7th century! It was reported that this find might just change how British history is recorded.
