OGA Outing Rules and RegulationsThese rules have been implemented to ensure that everyone has a fantastic time while learning and taking part in gold prospecting and mining outings. By taking part in or attending any OGA gold outing you agree to be held to all rules and regulations stated herein. The following are the guidelines that all guests must adhere to while attending an Oregon Gold Adventures gold outing. Please read them carefully as they will be strictly enforced. All guests are also required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to taking part in any OGA sponsored outing or event. Click HERE to see the waiver. 1. LIABILITY RELEASE: Prior to attending or taking part in any OGA outing, all guests and/or members will be required to read and sign a liability waiver. Gold prospecting/mining has inherent dangers. It is your responsibility to know and understand these dangers for the safety of yourself and others around you. There will be no exceptions. Members/Guests who refuse to sign a waiver are NOT eligible for a refund. 2. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: Oregon Gold Adventures follows a strict "leave it better than you found it" creed. If you brought it in...take it out. If you find it and it doesn't belong there...take it out...even if it wasn't yours. We, as miners, come across a wide variety of refuse and not just on the surface. While processing material we may find bottle tops, pull tabs, fishing weights, shotgun pellets, cut nails, broken glass and many other items. When such items are recovered it is required that they be removed from the environment and discarded in an appropriate manner. A garbage bag or receptical will be provided by OGA for the purposes of discarding such material. Please help all of us make our surroundings pristine, BETTER than it was when we got there. 3. TRANSPORTATION: All transportation must be arranged by each guest. Oregon Gold Adventures does not provide any transportation to, from or during any outings. It is each guests responsibility to make sure that their vehicle is appropriate for the terrain encountered while on an OGA outing. OGA will always make every attempt to keep guests abreast of any terrain that may require special transportation such as four-wheel drive...etc. 4. FOOD AND DRINK: Food and drink is also the responsibility of each guest. During outings at public recreational mining areas alcohol is permitted only where permitted by law. It is each guests responsibility to know and follow local laws regarding alcoholic beverages. OGA will not be a party to, or be responsible for, any guest violating any laws regarding the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages. OGA will cooperate fully with rangers and/or law enforcement officers as needed or requested. Glass of any kind is prohibited on any OGAC mining claims because of the severe danger it poses. Illegal drug possession or use will not be tolerated and will be reported to authorities. 5. We do not expect or anticipate that any of the prohibited activities will occur but we noted them to alleviate any "gray area".
